Get Involved

Our community engagement is a collaborative programme which brings mutual reward to the Edinburgh BioQuarter and our neighbouring communities.

There are many ways different ways to get involved and support our ongoing activities. We are also keen to support activities and projects initiated by groups or individuals based in the neighbouring communities.

Current Opportunities

We are delighted to have the support of volunteers representing a wide range of roles and organisations from across Edinburgh BioQuarter, including University research centres, the Edinburgh Clinical Trials Unit and life sciences companies based at NINE – Health Innovation Centre.

We hold regular recruitment call-outs for volunteers to support the delivery of activities, including our mentoring programme at Castlebrae Community Campus, Science Buddies, STEM Clubs and the Craigmillar Community Science Festival.
