Do you work in the life science or healthcare industry?
This event presented by SCDI Productivity Club, in collaboration with SULSA and Edinburgh College, will showcase Virtual Reality (VR) technology and discuss how VR could revolutionise skills learning in the life sciences sector.
Have you ever considered how you might use VR to train your team? Have you wondered how this technology could help you reduce your overall training costs e.g. labs or trainers and increase your productivity? Curious to have a sneaky peak at first-hand process-based training programme on VR?
In this interactive session expect to hear from a VR content developer, an educator, and a business who designed its own VR training programme who will share their fails, learnings and outcomes.
You will have the chance to engage the speakers directly and to discuss how this might be applied to your training strategy, other VR opportunities and much more with your peers.
Prior to the presentations, there is an opportunity to tour the award-winning Edinburgh College Digital Care Hub. Experience how using VR technology can teach empathy for those suffering from Dementia and aid in teaching technical and professional learning and skills.
Please note this event is reserved for businesses/institutions/organisations operating in the life science and healthcare industries only.
