Online event

The University of Edinburgh’s Centre for Technomoral Futures and Global Compassion Initiative, in partnership with the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education at Stanford University, host ‘Realising a Compassionate Planet’.

This live-online event on November 5th from 10am to 6pm, brings compassion science into dialogue with climate science.

Compassion is one of the most powerful motivations known to humankind. As we enter the decade of last chance for addressing the climate crisis, the global community’s response cannot rely on scientific expertise, accurate data, and technical excellence alone—it requires realising the power of a compassionate planet.

Do you teach, study, or work with compassion? Register now to learn more about how it can be part of the climate change solution by hearing compassion scientists and changemakers in conversation with leading climate scientists.

Do you work in climate activism or sustainability, without knowing how to fully tap into the capacity of this powerful motivator for change? Join us to explore new horizons of the human side of global change.

Add your voice to the conversation, and catalyze compassion in the context of a changing climate.

Delegates will receive live event credentials, exclusive access to recorded sessions and more change maker resources.
