Staff Pride Network BioQuarter Coffee & Cake Social

The BioQuarter Pride Committee has partnered with the Staff Pride Network (SPN) to host monthly coffee and cake meet ups, and a weather dependant/optional wellbeing walk on Edinburgh BioQuarter, starting 26th October.

This event is open to all LGBT+/ally staff (or PhD students) of the University of Edinburgh.

More generally a broad range of people will be attending from all ages, disabilities and social abilities so please feel welcome to join this informal social event.

Please drop in for a coffee and (free) cake, meet your LGBT+ colleagues and ask a committee member any questions.

Weather permitting, whoever wishes to share in a Wellbeing Walk is welcome to join this following coffee/cake.

Future events will be held on the fourth Thursday of each month and the venue will alternate, with even numbered months at the Niche Cafe (IRR South) and odd numbered months in Jex-Blake Suite Cafe (Chancellor’s Building).

Please advise in advance of any access or dietary needs so these can be accommodated where possible and if you are nervous at all about attending and would like to meet up with one of the Pride team first, please contact by email.

Registration is not essential but helps plan how much cake is required!
